The Slopes of Ski Legends- Salzburg to Munich

Day 1 Munich/Munich airport to Schladming (no skiing)
Pick up at Munich/Munich airport or Salzburg by your guides and transfer in the direction of Austria. Our first destination of the trip is world renowned ski resort of Schladming, nestled in the alpine valley south of Salzburg. The place that will host us for the first two nights is charming Natur and Wellness Hotel Hoeflehner, or similar located directly on the ski slopes. Meet your guides before dinner in the hotel lobby for welcome drinks and a brief overview of the week. Dinning is at the hotel. (D)
Day 2 Schladming Ski Resort
First day of skiing with your guides. Discover the 3 connected resorts of Haus, Reiteralm and Schladming. We will have light lunch in one of the traditional mountain huts on the slope. In the afternoon, try your legs on a spectacular slope of Planai, where the most famous World Cup Slalom race for men takes place every year in January. Dinning in the town of Schladming. (B,L,D)
Day 3 Flachau Ski Resort
After breakfast we will have a short transfer to the neighboring town of Flachau. If Schladming is the most famous World Cup slalom race for men, Flachau has the same title when it comes to World Cup slalom race for women. The night slalom that is held here every January is one of the most spectacular events in the calendar of the World Cup. Your guides will take you around three resorts today: Flachau, Wagrain and Alpendorf. After skiing, a quick transfer towards our next destination on the trip, magical valley of Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Lodging and dinner at the Alpin Palace Hotel or similar in Hinterglemm, we will stay at this property for the next 2 nights. (B,L,D)
Day 4 Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Leogang
One of the biggest ski resorts in Europe (over 270km of slopes, 105 trails and 70 lifts) will be our playground for the next 2 days. The official name of the resort is Skicircus and it spreads over two Austrian states, Salzburg and Tyrol, connecting 4 alpine towns of Leogang, Saalbach, Hinterglemm and Fieberbrunn. Your guides will show you the best slopes, photo stops and take you to the huts with the most delicious Austrian food – gourmet experience at its best. Tonight dinner on your own in charming town of Hinterglemm. (B,L)

Day 5 Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Fieberbrunn
Today we ski across the border to the Austrian state of Tyrol, discovering the western part of Skicircus resort, where Freeride World Tour organizes one of the most spectacular free ride ski events every winter. We will finish our ski day in Fieberbrunn, from where we have a short transfer to our next stop, one of the world most famous and boutique ski resorts Kitzbühel. Lodging and dinner at the Tennerhof hotel or similar in Kitzbühel, our home for 2 nights. (B,L,D)
Day 6 Kitzbühel ski resort
After breakfast we are going to enjoy some of the world’s most famous slopes on the mountain Hahnenkamm just above Kitzbühel. The famous Streif is the most spectacular downhill ski track in the world. Resort offer more than 200km of slopes in all degree of difficulty and over 60 rustic, cozy ski huts, where they offer traditional and international lunch specialties. After skiing relax in hotels spa and dine on your own in one of many restaurants in Kitzbühel town. (B,L,)
Day 7 Kitzbühel – SkiWelt
Today we ski on the mountains just opposite the town of Kitzbühel. SkiWelt resort is a bit less famous part of Kitzbühel area, but the variety it offers is just mind blowing. It is one of the biggest and most modern ski resorts in the world with over 284km of slopes and over 90 lifts. After a full day of skiing we will be transferred over the border into Germany, to our last resort, the most famous German winter destination of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Lodging and dinner at Obermuehle hotel or similar. (B,L.D)

Day 8 Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Welcome to Bavaria, Germany and to our last day of skiing. Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a place with great sports history, host city of the winter Olympics and many other winter sports competitions, including Ski World Cup and Four Hills Ski jumping series. Depending on weather situation and guest’s preference we will chose between the two resorts to ski today, Garmisch-Classic area or highest resort in Germany Zugspitze, glacier with amazing views just few kilometers out of town. In the evening join us for our last dinner together. (B,L,D)

Day 9 Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Munich (Airport)
After breakfast transfer to Munich/Munich Airport. Other drop off destinations available upon arrangement. (B)

8 nights in 4+ or 5 star hotel accommodation in twin/double beds with private bathroom (single room supplements available)
All breakfasts in the hotel, all snack/lunches on the slopes and 6 dinners with drinks, plus refreshment on days with afternoon transfers
2 X Full time professional Licensed English speaking ski instructor/guide/driver while on the tour. At least one guide always ski with the group, as the second switches between skiing, driving the van and providing back up service all the time during the trip.
Minimum of 2 hours of group ski lessons per day, private lessons available upon arrangement
Ski pass for all 7 days of skiing

*Activity level of the trip is 3-4 (suitable for intermediate skiers and above – parallel and carving technique, skiers comfortable skiing on red slopes and above)
