Amazing Day!
What an amazing day exploring 3 countries in one day! Stefan was an amazing guide. The trip gave us time to explore and the scenery along the way was beautiful. While Piran was beautiful and a place I want to go back to….Groznjan Croatia was one of the quaintest places I have seen. Did I mention Stefan was GREAT. He loves his country and his job. It shows!

Wine tour July 2024
Slovenia Wine tour
My daughter and I went on a 9 hour private tour to the wine region in Slovenia and Istria . Stefan our guide was exceptional, very knowledgeable about Slovenian history and went out of his way to make our trip very special, comfortable and memorable. We visited 2 wineries. The first one Blazics is owned by a Slovenian family for over 125 years. The family was most hospitable and prepared a lovely meal made from fresh produce from their garden. The second one was SanTomas winery located in the Istria wine region. My daughter who is a wine Sommelier enjoyed tasting the local Slovenian wines. I highly recommend Slovenia 4 seasons for any tours in Slovenia.

Prague&Germany tour May 2024

Bear watching June 2024
Amazing up-close (safe) bear watching experience
We were hoping to see bears and expecting to have to wait patiently for a long time, and then see them from a distance. Instead, there was already a bear there when we arrived at the observation hut, and there were bears present pretty much the whole two hours that we stayed there! We felt very safe in the hut with the guide, but also very close to the bears, closer than we had expected, which meant we had a great experience observing them. We saw four individuals in total, occasionally seeing a larger bear chase off a smaller bear.

We just wanted to thank you for the magnificent tour provided to us recently.
You certainly showcased your beautiful country to us very well and our guide Stefan played a big part in the tour’s success. We found him very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and ready to help out at every opportunity-he is a real asset to your agency but, of course, you already know that.
We also appreciated the opportunity to share a meal with you (and Carmen)-what a great night that was-the food and wine were a real highlight as was the company-thank you for taking the time to meet us..
In summary, this tour certainly exceeded our expectations-the hotels were mostly of a very high standard and the meals provided were very generous-we weren’t left wanting anything at the end of each evening.
We know that you value constructive feedback-the only comments we make relate to Lake Bled where we would have liked to have spent more free time and in Piran, where the opportunity to upgrade to a seaview room would have been the “icing on the cake”. In addition, some commentary regarding fitness levels required for hiking activities would have been helpful.
We do apologise for teaching Stefan some traditional Aussie phrases which we hope he gets the chance to use with the next group from “Down Under”.

Bear watching - June 2024

We were in the hide from around 17:30 to 19:30. And we pretty much had constant viewing of bears all the time we were there.
We are so glad we got to do this trip, especially after the disappointment of the previous arrangement. It was fabulous!

We chose the 3 countries in one day program. It was a very beautiful experience, Stefan our guide was amazing, excellent knowledge of the history and the place. It satisfied our every desire. We felt like we went on an excursion with a friend. Among the positive aspects of the excursion is the agency’s flexibility in modifying the program. The car is very comfortable.

We had a one day trip including Trieste , Piran and Groznan, three countries in a day. Istria is a wonderful landscape. Our guide gave us an insight not only about some touristic highlights but also a historical introduction about Balkan. It was very interesting and more than I expected before. Excellent Tours!
My wife and I did four day trips from Trieste with Slovenia 4 Seasons. The highlights were wine tasting in Slovenia, hosted by the wine maker and his wife at their home, trips the Croatian and Slovenia coasts, and beatiful Lake Bled. The private tours were beautiful conducted by Andrej and Igor. They are very knowledgable regarding Slovenian and Croatian history, including interesting commentary on Tito. Highly recommended.

The best possible tour of the Balkans
We have travelled a lot but the 15 day tour of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro that Andrej organised for us was exceptional.
Everything from choice of hotels, driver/guide, everything seen, food and wines, local guides and total ambience of the trip was more than anybody could ever expect.
We began the trip with minimal knowledge of the countries we visited but, by the end of the comprehensive input from all the guides, we are leaving with some considerable knowledge of this complicated and exciting region.
