While the tour advertised Muggia rather than Trieste (because most tours are done out of Trieste). I really wanted to see Trieste and was not disappointed by the city or the tour. I would never have found the coffee house on my own. Then lunch in Grozcnan, Croatia. Again the hilltop town, reminiscent of Tuscany, was beautiful. Then Stanjel, Slovenia which most certainly is off the beaten track and worthwhile. Finally Vipava for wine as the place in Stanjel was closed. Andrej was knowledgable and also fluent in English. I would highly recommend him and the company.
